Self-Sanitising Technology - SST

SST – i.e. “Self Sanitising Technology” – is the Cosmetal self-sanitising bacteriostatic system that, when applied to the reservoir and all components coming into contact with water, allows for reducing sanitising operations on bottled water coolers to once a year.
The SST technology is based on a special plastic mixture that exploits the natural antimicrobial properties of silver to inhibit bacterial proliferation for over 12 months.

The association carried out analyses and experiments in accordance with the most stringent standards, and declared SST effective in drastically reducing bacterial proliferation inside water tanks.

This important recognition highlights Cosmetal’s long-standing commitment to research aimed at protecting the hygiene and safety of water dispensed from its water coolers.

This technology is available as an option on all Avant water coolers.
